Advanced Sports Wrap for Chondromalacia Knee Pain from Hockey Soccer Basketball Baseball Volleyball Softball Football Gymnastics Golf Swimming Jogging Bowling Cycling Running Tennis
From: Eileen P.
Subject: Thank You
I wanted to let you know what a wonderful product your knee wrap is. I have a 14 year
daughter
who plays basketball, volleyball and softball (at the same time) and was suffering from
chondromalacia. I ordered one of the knee
pain wraps and in 3 days the swelling was completely gone.
From time to time it will reoccur and ache and she will immediately put the wrap
on. Usually in less than 12 hours she is as
good as new. Recently she suffered a deep
thigh bruise and moved the knee wrap up to the thigh and in 2 days it was as good as new. I just ordered a second knee wrap because she
wants to wear one on each knee every night to prevent any further pain associated with the
Chondromalacia. It is a great product for my
child and I will continue to recommend it to all of my friends.
The key to Goode Wraps is the rare-earth semiconductors silk screened to the chondromalacia knee pain wrap
Goode Wraps are simple to use, just slip one on, and it begins to work for knee pain and aches.
With a little care the Goode Wrap can last for years
Chondromalacia is pain under the knee cap. It is possible to
strengthen and stretch certain muscles to better the tracking for your knee cap. The inside muscle of the quadriceps is the vastus
medialis. This is activated when your knee is tightened in the straight position.
That is why straight leg raising with Leg weights are very beneficial for
Chondromalacia
Strengthening through a bending position activates the
larger, lateral muscle of the quadriceps, when this muscle is strong it further pulls the
knee cap more laterally, thus further aggravating the condition. There is more compression
to the knee cap the further you bend, therefore deep squatting is not advisable. If
the lateral hip muscles are tight, they will have an affect on the knee cap. So stretch
the hip and hamstrings. Poor foot mechanics such as excessive foot pronation will
adversely affect the position of the knee cap. Orthotics or change of foot wear may
dramatically help knee pain.
GLUCOSAMINE AND CHONDROITIN SULFATE - FEDERAL STUDY
Study Assumption; It is commonly belied that Glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate have been considered effective to relieve knee pain caused by osteoarthritis. The study brief concluded:
The osteoarthritis study performed at Texas Tech University and University of Texas, Graduate School for Nursing - Osteoarthritis Pain Study Reprots:
Osteoarthritis, a chronic degenerative joint disease affecting an estimated 16 million Americans, produces symptoms of joint pain and stiffness. Symptom abatement by traditional therapies is often ineffective and/or harmful to Osteoarthritis patients. These patients seek alternative therapies which are safe, effective, and provide a measure of self-care.
Summary:
T-test analyses of data demonstrated a moderate decrease in osteoarthritis joint pain after two hours for both the study and placebo groups and a significant decrease in osterarthritis pain in only the study group after two days of treatment, supporting the hypothesis of a significant decrease in reported pain of subjects receiving treatment of topically applied Goode Wraps HexTape as compared to subjects receiving placebo therapy.

I have a comment to make about the Goode Wrap pain
product I received in the mail yesterday. I
ordered the large knee wrap. I just wanted to
say it is short of a miracle. I wore it
without the pain medication I had been prescribed. It
was an experiment. I did not need my
medicine. It is an awesome product.
TITLE: [Anterior knee pain syndrome: a historical review]
What can you do about the Chondromalacia knee pain?
Anterior knee pain is a frequent musculoskeletal complaint affecting
adolescent population. Until late sixties posterior knee pain used to be associated
with chanfromalacia knee pain. This review discusses etiology and treatment of anterior
knee pain. Various etiologic theories exist ranging from trauma and patellar maltracking
to retinacular nerves injury. None of these theories has been generally
accepted and etiology of patellofemoral ( chanlromalacia ) knee pain remains unclear.
KNEE PAIN PATELLAR TENDINITIS
JUMPER'S KNEE Vs. CHONDROMALACIA
The big difference between the
effects of Chondromalacia and patellar tendinitis (tendinitis of the patella--the
kneecap), is that tendinitis sufferers are much better able to locate the knee pain. When
you have tendinitis you can put a fingertip right on the spot whereas people with
Chondromalacia may rub their fingers up, down, and around the knee to indicate where it
hurts. You can put the tip of a ballpoint pen right on the spot it's so tiny and
specific that the pain just about levitate yourself into the air. The spot is right
at the bottom of the kneecap--hence the name, patellar tendinitis. It's also called
jumper's knee, as it was first described in the takeoff leg of high jumpers. Basketball
players probably have more tendinitis of the patella than anybody else. Dancers and
runners are also affected (and it's very hard to deal with in runners), volleyball
players. Anyone who runs and jumps may suffer from it. Like Chondromalacia, it
begins hurting after your activity, then toward the end of the activity, then during, at
the beginning, and finally all the time. It sneaks up on you, first hurting then
becoming painful. It's not nearly as common as Chondromalacia-nothing is--- it's probably
the second most frequent knee injury.

| Bob W, Engineer and Investment Banker - Good results in relieving Post Operation Knee Pain |
"As youve probably already seen Im recovering from a
bilateral ACL reconstruction of both knees (patellar tendon
auto-graphs). Needless to say my tendons have been a bit annoyed and ache by having their
middle third cut out. Ive found a great product that has eliminated my patellar knee
pain. They do have University Research reports on-line, but being an engineer I figured
Id do my own research. I used the wrap on my right knee and left my left knee as the
control group. Ive been doing this for a little over a week and my right patellar
tendon feels dramatically better (no more stiffness in the morning, or pain when I sit for
long periods). The result of my extensive research: Im going to get another wrap for
my other knee. |
| Jennifer D recovering from ACL surgery, posting to Bobs WWWBoard. |
| "I definitely feel better. I have been using my knee wrap for several days now and less stiffness, ache and pain after sitting for long periods. I wear it during the day and sleep with it. I would definitely endorse this product. I expect to wear it to sleep until my ACL knee feels just like my other knee. |

I
wanted you to know how satisfied and how much the knee wrap has relieved the pain in my
right knee. I can
now jog again.
My right knee was so painful and it hurt just to walk. I could not even think about jogging, and
caused so much frustration. I started surfing
the web for knee braces/wraps to see if I could find some pain relief before I went to see
a doctor about my knee. I found your website
and read about the people it has worked for and I said if it could work for them, it
probably could work for me. I was a bit
skeptical at first, that simply a knee wrap could make the intense pain go away, but after
just 6 days of wearing it I was able to jog 2 miles.
It has been about a month since I have jogged and my knee felt great. I want to say Thank You for such a marvelous
product and I will definitely recommend this to everyone who has aches and pains
throughout their body.
